The third book in the AMP series was just as highly entertaining for me as the first two. AMP PRIVATE WAR smoothly segued into AMP BLITZKRIEG, which then rolls right into AMP REBELLION while maintaining the fun momentum. I'm loving this series. As a Professional Engineer with a heavy manufacturing, R&D, electromagnetic (RF), and nuclear and electrical power background, I can sometimes be overly critical, but I've found AMP to be very entertaining and the science and technology plausible. The story in AMP has me fully immersed and thoroughly enjoying the read.Product details

The action is non stop, the characters are well rounded and an interesting mix. The strategic planning is fascinating yet subject to change as and when needed. Never a dull moment. If you like war stories, and enjoy mixing in a few aliens with paranoid tendencies to control the universe, and changing alliances and unexpected power shifts, you will love the whole series as much as I have.
AMP Blitzkrieg, continues with the same leading characters that have held your attention in the series. The story brings in your imagination to complement a well written Space series. War, love, intrigue, deceit, good vs. evil, survival, leadership, friendship are all themes in this series. While the story has sad, moments dealing with loss, the sections are well written for a teen and above.
I have enjoyed the series and the authors story. l am looking forward to the next in the series.
After reading the first book in the series, I purchased the second, read it and purchased the third, read it and purchased the fourth, which I am reading now. This is a series of fast paced action filled galaxy spanning stories with believable and likable characters and is filled with hope for mankind in the distant future. I strongly recommend any and all books in this series to any lover of Space Opera-style science fiction!
AMP Blitzkrieg is the third book in the exciting AMP Sci-Fi series by Stephen Arseneault.. Don and Frig find new ways to attack the enemy and find new alliances . The planet Defiant is growing and even more people are calling it home. This series has created a galaxy filled with many alien races and wondrous technology .It is exciting and unpredictable. It is even better than Star Wars. I love it. I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves Sci-Fi or just a good adventure.I have read the first two in this series and have already bought the next one.
The deception of the nefarious alien race is thwarted and tech advances in weapons and speed shift the balance of power. As the treachery on the Grid is exposed and the alien antagonists defeated, there is new hope for peace. Frig has a big role in decoding and developing wormhole generators. The epilogue cleverly sets up the next book. Start at AMP Book 1 - this is not a standalone story. Read the Omega series after AMP.
Once again I had the pleasure of an enjoyable read from Stephen Arseneault.
Many things were resolved in this edition of the series. I almost felt like I was at the end of a trilogy, but the ending didn't disappoint. While a lot of things were wrapped up for Don Grange, you could tell another story was developing in the last pages. It was kind of like watching a movie and seeing at the end, how they set it up for a sequel.
I have to say that I really like Don Grange. I also enjoy reading about his relationship with Frig.
I could have lived without the small arms sound effects. I don't mind them every so often for affect, but not through entire fight/battle scenes.
Hey... the story is sometimes predictable and not always realistic, but simply a good entertaining story to read. It kept me entertained, and it engaged my imagination. So, don't over think it, just enjoy the read!

In the continuing war with the Milgari, surprising facts surface. It seems the Milgari are being manipulated for another species gain. A great tale of how to reverse how the Milgari are being used, gaining allies from species that aren't human(but with the same greed for money and power as humans), new technologic discoveries, and how humans can become a family even when not DNA is shared. As the war progresses, a species they know little about, the Durians, seem to have their hand in the war on both sides. But what is the benefit for the Durians? Are they wanting profits or is there something else they want?
Grange fights himself constantly because he doesn't believe himself to be a leader. His closest friend, Frig, and his Defiant Nation's new council are always having to remind him how they all came together to fight for the Grid (the only home Humans have known for 1000 years). Grange finds new realities in himself as to his feelings for all who are fighting for Humanity and for freedom for all species in this region of the Galaxy.
